Summer League 2019

The Stockton Petanque Club 2019 Summer League started on 6th April 2019 and finished on 28th September 2019 based upon the results of the Saturday Club.

After a nip and tuck finish to the summer, with Bill leading with 2 weeks to play, a strong finish by Sarah Jerger meant she successfully defended her crown and won the for the second successive year, with a close second for Perry Stevens and Bill Bentley in third

Points were awarded for the opening singles match and the follow-up pairs/triples match, on the basis of 3 for a win and 1 for a loss, except for the first Saturday of each month when we played a three round Open Melee - with just the first round result counting towards the Summer League.

When byes are necessary, 2 points were awarded.
