Summer League 2017

The Stockton Petanque Club 2017 Summer League started on 1st April 2017 and finished on 30th September 2017 based upon the results of the Saturday Club.

Gareth Potter was crowned champion with 73 points despite a late surge from Bill Bentley who finished second on 70 points.

Points are awarded for the opening singles match and the follow-up pairs/triples match, on the basis of 3 for a win and 1 for a loss, except for the first Saturday of each month when we play a three round Open Melee - with just the first round result counting towards the Summer League. 

When byes are necessary, 2 points are awarded.
