19 players turned up for the March melee on a bright spring day. After three timed rounds there was just one unbeaten player – Rick Hayes. Unusually, one of the games ended in a 12-12 draw at the end of the allowed time, one of the contestants being Nouri Beladaci who won his other two games and so was second overall. The best of those winning two games was Rich Rushton with a +18 points advantage, just ahead of Becky Rushton with +10. A mention should be made of Maisie Rand, our only junior, who won 2 games with +5. Well done to her.
