Summer League 2018

The Stockton Petanque Club 2018 Summer League started on 7th April 2018 and finished on 29th September 2018 based upon the results of the Saturday Club. After a late 9 victory winning streak, Sarah Jerger needing to win the last two games and Bill Bentley not to obtain a victory - In true movie finale style they were drawn against each other for both the final days games. A truly tight finish, with Sarah Jerger pipped Bill Bentley on the last game of the season to win by 1 point !

Points were awarded for the opening singles match and the follow-up pairs/triples match, on the basis of 3 for a win and 1 for a loss, except for the first Saturday of each month when we played a three round Open Melee - with just the first round result counting towards the Summer League.

When byes are necessary, 2 points were awarded.
